Accessibility targets

Public and private organizations

Under French law, internet, intranet and extranet sites must declare their level of RGAA compliance.

In the event of failure to publish the level of compliance, the following are subject to a fine of up to 20,000 euros per year and per platform:

  • The public sector
Administration and local authorities / legal entities governed by public law / legal entities governed by private law with public service delegation / legal entities governed by private non-profit law
  • Private sector
For organizations with sales in excess of 250 million euros / year

Accessibility chain, all players!

Various players are involved in implementing digital accessibility. From design to maintenance of your platforms, there are three main players:

- Publisher: build an adapted base
- Integrator: use the right resources to master the tool and its code
- Customer: maintain accessibility levels through the choice of resources, ongoing training of contributors and testing with a panel of disabled people.
