Widgets are in the app, not in the platform. They are therefore embedded in each app, e.g. minimum 6.7 mb for a responsive apk.

Digiwin’s opinion
Let’s wait and see if a release comes out, to make sure the project isn’t abandoned along the way. Otherwise, it seems very affordable compared with java, and offers a real advantage over the Android and IOS mutli OS.
